2000 Honda VLX

When I was ten my dad brought home two motorcycles. One for him and one for my siblings and I to share. We lived on a farm and spent hours racing around the pastures, going just at fast as that little Yellow Yamaha 125cc Enduro would go.  As we got older we would ride down the road and onto logging roads, that was where I learned that other motorists were on the road too…ouch.

When I went to college and wanted to ride a bike to save money.  I rode the larger Yamaha 175cc Enduro dad had originally bought for himself. After college I didn’t ride any more-I became interested in other things.  I kept my license for many years just in case, but eventually I let it expire.

Last year, my son graduated from high school and he was hinting about getting a bike. I signed both of us up for the MSF class at WCC and we had a great weekend. I soon found a bike that we could both ride, a 2000 Honda VT650CD VLX Deluxe. I love riding and look forward to riding with others who have the same interest.
